A New Beginning

I know a few people are questioning My New Found Freedom status on my Facebook page.
As of yesterday I have found myself without a job. This is the first time this has happened for me, so I'm trying very hard to stay positive and keep things together. I don't talk about my job much on the blog but I will say this. I did very much love where I worked and people I worked with. I still do. The last six months have been very hard though. There were alot of changes made and I was passed over for a couple of job promotions. Plus it seemed we were working short-staffed quite a bit. Needless to say I was getting burnt out and I made a mistake.I'm only human. Granted I think it was a little extreme that I was let go and not giving a warning first but I had a responsibility to perform my job and failed. So I am going to take some very much earned time off. Spend some time with my wonderful daughters, organize my house,(Lord knows it really needs it) work on my book, and wait to see where God leads me on this journey.

Hang in there, Amanda! I've been there, too! Everytime I've been in your shoes, I later find that it was an ENORMOUS blessing of sorts. The first time it happened, I was pregnant with Amberly. I ended up getting SO SICK during my pregnancy with her, that I would not have been able to work, and that was also when Jadon started getting INCREDIBLY sick, and we were constantly in the ER and traveling downstate to see a specialist for him. The second time it happened, I was let go about 3 weeks before Jadon was struck with West Nile. It was a huge blessing that I was not working when that happened. Maybe God has a need for you soon, that would involve needing your availability...

enjoy your time with the girls and your hubs!

I'm sorry about losing your job, Amanda. That has to be rough for you, but like you said, it's time for a little "you" time, to get reorganized and figure out what exciting event is going to happen next! There is a plan and it will work out. My prayers are with you guys!

Love,

Grandma Kathy
